This month, the 31st expansion for Path of Exile, an action-RPG based on Diablo will be released. The 3.16 update, dubbed Scourge will be shown via a live stream on Oct 14th (Twitch Drops are enabled for that stream). The expansion is due to go live for PC on October 22nd and console on October 27th.

Scourge, PoE’s third expansion in 2021, will replace Expedition which was deployed back at the end of July. The update brought a new mode, logbooks and new character building gems. There were also some balance changes.

This year, Grinding Gear Games will host ExileCon. It is hoped that a Path of Exile 2 release time and more gameplay (aka PoE4.0) will be announced. This expansion/sequel was originally announced for 2020, but has been delayed to 2022 due to reasons that don’t really need explanation.
