A remarkable tale of luck has it that Razer Kraken headphones saved the life of an American 18-year old boy. Reddit user Enough_Dance_956 posted that the headphones stopped a bullet from entering his bedroom through the window. This saved his life. The post contains images that show how the headphones’ strap stopped the bullet from hitting the boy’s head. California was the scene.
“Hello to all who see this. I’m trying to reach someone at razer so that i can express my gratitude. Wednesday morning at 10:30am, a stray bullet pierced my window and struck my head with the razer headphones. “If it weren’t for the good quality headphones, I would have been an 18-year-old dead child.” Reddit user Enough_Dance_956 posted in Reddit.

It came from one block away. It was a stray shot. Someone with poor aim nearly killed me, while I was taking to my friends… The bullet passed through my window and into my headset. It bounced off the wall and settled in my bed. “We waited for police to take it,” the boy added in a follow up comment.

It looks like a movie scene, and netizens began to question the authenticity of the story. Enough_Dance_956 posted more photos of his room with the bullet in a Reddit post to support his claims. Razer offered to replace the headset and reportedly reached out. Razer reportedly offered to replace the headset, but the boy declined.

While we cannot confirm the authenticity of this story, it is worth noting the Razer Kraken headphones have a metal band and some padding in their head strap. Plastic headphones would not have provided similar protection.
