Apple’s mixed reality headset will be more powerful than many laptops. She will receive SoC Apple M2
Apple’s mixed-reality headset should be eligible for the M2 single chip system. Mark Gurman, Bloomberg journalist, believes so.
It was previously reported that the headset would receive SoC M1, however, Apple appears to have changed the configuration. Keep in mind that current leaks refer to two platforms. The first will process data from all the sensors.
M2 will be added to the headset with 16GB of memory. This will allow for a better performance than many laptops. However, rumors claim that Apple has had issues with the headset overheating in the past. This is why such a powerful platform seems to be a plus.
The headset will be available in 2023, according to current plans. The device will be introduced to the market next year, although Apple may show it for the first time at an event this fall.
