Up to 8 XE cores and 6 GB of memory: the first information about the Intel Arc Pro A50/A40 graphics cards appeared
SiSoftware Sandra’s test package contains new data about the Arc A40 Pro, and Arc A50 Pro graphic cards. These graphics accelerators are for workstations and are intended for engineering tasks.
The A50 Pro features a full ACM–G11 GPU with 8 cores (8 FP32 cores/128 execution units), while the A40 Pro will likely get a reduced version. The clock frequency is 2.45 GHz.
The cards come with 6 GB GDDR6 of memory, which indicates a 96 bit memory bus. Both cards are almost identical to the Arc A380 card.
The company is still working on its entry-level products. It is unknown when high-performance gaming systems and professional solutions that are based on ACM-G10 GPUs will be available. The availability of the Arc A40 Pro or Arc A50 Pro cards in retail is not known. They will only be available as part workstations.
Intel’s first gaming graphics card was introduced earlier this year for $150.
