Calista Redmond, CEO of RISCV International, stated that 10 billion cores for RISCV have been shipped to the market.
The kernels were delivered by no one. Platforms based on this architecture have been on the market for approximately 10 billion cores over their entire existence.
This mark was only possible because of the 12 year period it took for architecture and the market to reach this point. It is quite a feat, but Arm architecture took 17 years to achieve the same result. It is predicted that the market will have 80 billion RISC-V cores by 2025.
Remember that the first laptop with RISC/V architecture was recently introduced to the market. The ROMA model was designed primarily for software developers. It integrates Web3 technology.
