In a few weeks, the official go-ahead will be given for the new Google Operating System Android12. According to leaked documents, the final version could be released as soon as October 4. The update should be available first for Pixel smartphones, as usual.
The new Android operating system, which Google has just released as a beta version of Android 12, should now be available and will be delivered to the first smartphones within a matter of weeks. Mishaal Rahman, the XDA Developers reporter, discovered that the October 4th 2021 release date should seem realistic. Based on Google documents, his statement was based on which version of the Android Open Source Project (AOSP), the final stable version will be released on the date mentioned.
Android 12 to Hit First Pixel Smartphones
This handover for Android10 and Android11 has been the official start signal for the software in recent years. Only the company’s Google Pixel smartphones are going to be able to receive the new Android 12. On the other hand, companies such as Samsung, Xiaomi and OnePlus will need to take some time to optimize their operating system and the frequently modified interfaces (e.g. One UI, OxygenOS, etc.). The manufacturer will determine how long it takes to complete this process.
Android 12 was released at the beginning of October. It sets the stage for a substantially revised graphical interface, new functions and the introduction of the Google Pixel 6 Pro. Experts believe that the group may deliver the previously announced flagship smartphones by October 19, 2021 or make them available for pre-order. It is possible that the new software will already be installed on the Pixel 6 models, as per the Android 12 release schedule.
