2023 Kia XCeed unveiled for European market

Kia’s compact crossover XCeed has been updated for European markets. It features a new range of engines and a slightly redesigned exterior.

New LED optics, bumpers, and a narrower grille gave the Kia XCeed an aggressive new look. The car also received a new Kia badge at the hood.

New LED lights were added to the XCeed GT-Line model, which has a thinner grille, larger air intakes and 18-inch wheels. The new steering wheel, black ceiling and perforated leather-wrapped shift knob, as well as the sporty front seats, are worth mentioning.

Standard installation will include a 1.0-liter, 118-horsepower, T-GDI diesel engine. A 1.5-liter four-cylinder petrol engine of 158 horsepower will also be available. A hybrid power plant, consisting of a 1.5-liter internal combustion engine with an electric motor that produces a total power of just 139 hp. A battery of 8.9 kWh will last 48 km.

The Kia Connect platform will be integrated with Google and Apple systems. It will allow you to plan your trip in advance, and also give you the option to determine the exact location of your car via a smartphone.

Rear and front passengers now have USB C ports for charging. Base model will have a 5-inch radio; mid-range trims will have an 8-inch touchscreen with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay support, while the top-end model will have a 10.25 inch infotainment system with 12.3-inch digital instrument panel and a 10.25-inch radio.

The production of the new Kia XCeed will begin this summer at the company’s Slovakian plant. Sales will start in September.
