Apple’s MacBook Pro is based on SoC M2, but the company could release more productive products in the future.
Mark Gurman, a well-known journalist and insider, says Apple has set an internal goal to release the 14-inch and 16 inch MacBook Pros on the M2 Pro or M2 Max in the autumn. They are in development. They may not be available in the fall due to logistical problems, but they could come out later, possibly even in the spring of next years.
The new products in this area will not be any different from the MacBook’s design. However, it is expected that the number of ports will rise and the display and camera will be better.
Gurman believes that SoC M2 Pro or M2 Max will offer significantly higher performance for graphics cores. This is important for professional tasks.
