Qualcomm has moved the Snapdragon Tech Summit to November this year, instead of December. It will be the place where the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 successors are introduced, as well as the Snapdragon 8cx Gen 3.
You can also get a first glimpse at the Nuvia cores. The Snapdragon Tech Summit is held every year in the first week December. The Overview page lists upcoming events. However, Qualcomm mentions November 14-17 for this year’s edition.
The summit will be held by Qualcomm as soon as November this year. The conference will include a preview of the CPU cores that were created specifically for the Nuvia acquisition. These will be the first to be used as a notebook arm processor.
The Snapdragon 8 Generation 1 successor for smartphones will still rely on modified Arm Cortex Cores. Although the sampling of processors with Nuvia cores will take place this summer, the first devices equipped with them is not expected to be available until 2023.
