ZTE today officially unveiled the Nubia Z40S Pro smartphone, a Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 flagship smartphone with a flat screen. It differs from many devices of its class in the camera.
Nubia Z40S Pro received LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 flash memory, as well as a fairly large cooling system with a 3062 mm vapor chamber2 (the area of the entire cooling system is 38387 mm2).
The AMOLED display is characterized by a diagonal of 6.67 inches, Full HD + resolution and a frame rate of 144 Hz (although there is no smooth adjustment, you can choose fixed values - 144, 120 or 60 Hz).
Front camera – with a 16-megapixel OmniVision OV16A1Q sensor. The main camera is with three modules. The main one uses a Sony IMX787 image sensor with a resolution of 64 megapixels and a lens with a focal length of 35 mm (the vast majority of other flagships use a wide-angle lens with a focal length of about 24 mm) and an optical stabilization system. The 116° ultra-wide lens module uses a 50-megapixel Samsung S5KJN1 sensor. Well, the third module – the same periscope – with an 8-megapixel Hynix hi847 sensor and a 5x optical zoom.
Nubia Z40S Pro has two options for the power subsystem. Basic – with a 5000 mAh battery and 80 W fast charging, optional (and more expensive) – with a 4600 mAh battery and 120 W charging. In the second case, it takes about 19 minutes to fully charge the battery.
The Nubia Z40S Pro is 8.05 mm thick and weighs 199 grams. The smartphone also received a powerful vibration motor and a pair of speakers. The novelty is running Android 12 with MyOS 12 interface.
