Although the iPhone 14 Pro is expected to arrive in a few months we know most of its details. Although there has been much speculation regarding the design, we now know what it will look like.
The next iPhone 14 Max, 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max have been making a lot noise just a few months prior to their release. It’s these last two that are most interesting as they will be the only ones offering real novelty.
We now have all the details about the future iPhone 14 Pro thanks to Jon Prosser’s new renderings. These renders are not new. Recent images revealed the differences between 4 new iPhone models. Unbox Therapy published a video showing how the iPhone 14 Pro Max compares to the iPhone 13 Pro Max.
The iPhone 14 Pro has a different design
Based on the information we have about the iPhone 14s, it appears that the iPhone 13 classic model is a faithful copy. The iPhone 14 Pro Max and 14 Pro Max are the only models that stand out from their predecessors. This is due to a unique design that doesn’t include a notch. Jon Prosser’s renders show that the iPhone 14 Pro will adopt a new design, with a pill and punch at the top of the screen. The punch will hold the front camera while the pill will contain all the sensors required for Face ID. Yesterday we discovered that the iPhone 14 Pro would get an always-on display mode, a feature that has been available on Android phones for many years.
The Always-on Display, however, is more energy-efficient than most smartphones. This is mainly due to the new OLED display. It can drop down to 1 Hz like the Apple Watch Series 5. The time display when the screen’s off should therefore not have a significant impact on overall battery life .
