Chinese sources have published renderings of the latest Chery crossover, which is now under the Exeed subbrand. Production is expected to begin tomorrow, but sales are not expected to begin soon. The power plant is not known. However, images of the interior and exterior suggest that it is an electric car.
The Exeed flagship is striking from the outside. Its complex design with daytime running lights and a dipped beam makes it stand out. Highlighted is the inscription between the narrow headlights. Modern, yet relaxed, is the rear end. Mirrors are a focal point, but it is actually the cameras that draw attention to them.
The interior is very elegant and the steering wheel looks like a Mercedes-Benz car’s steering wheel. The top version promises a large, curved display measuring 24.6 inches diagonally. The base version will feature two displays measuring 12.3 inches diagonally.
It promises to be extremely smart inside. The car will be controlled by the owner, who will adjust the seat and mirrors to suit his needs. The climate system will also activate the heated seats according to weather and temperature conditions. A lidar-based autonomous driving system is also possible (it is visible in the middle of the roof, above the windshield), and cameras as well as other types of assistants.
Tomorrow will likely bring more information about the Exeed.
