The Galaxy Note line no longer exists, but Samsung continues to look up to it. The company wants foldable smartphones to sell even better

Although the Galaxy Note smartphone line has fallen into the ashes, the flagship of the Galaxy S series will remain. Samsung chose to use the Note line of smartphones as a benchmark in an entirely different context.

The Korean giant wants Galaxy Z folding smartphones to be more popular than the Note line. Samsung’s Galaxy Z sales will be comparable to Note sales in the future.

The company has sold approximately 190 million Note smartphones over its entire history. The Note20 line sold 12,000,000 units and the Note10 14 million. This is the benchmark for Galaxy Z’s line. In this instance, foldable devices can reach least Note20. Over the past year, Samsung sold 10,000,000 of these smartphones. 8 million of those were current Fold3 and Flip3 models. The new generation of Samsung will sell even more.
