Apple will launch a new line of iPhone 14 smartphones in September. It will have a variety of older and younger models. It is currently known that Pro Max and Pro Max models will be equipped with A16 processors while younger models will be equipped with A15 processors. The older models will have 48-megapixel cameras, while the younger models will have 12-megapixel. The screens of higher-end solutions will not have “monobrows”, but cutouts will be used instead. According to online sources, however, at least one other difference will exist.
Samsung, the supplier of Apple displays, will use different OLED material for different screen types. Standard models will have displays made of lower-quality materials while higher-end models will get top-quality screens.
Samsung Display will be using the M11 material kits for the iPhone 14 Max and iPhone 14 Max displays. The iPhone 14 Pro Max and iPhone 14 Pro Max will use M12 materials.
These differences can have a significant impact on image quality and usability. It is not known if the more expensive materials will offer any visible benefits.
It was earlier reported that all iPhone 14 models will be equipped with lenses with 7P lenses.
