Nancy Pelosi flew in a plane from Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland to the Pacific Ocean on July 30th. Yesterday, she flew to Taiwan after visiting several areas.
Pelosi’s visit to Taiwan, which China regards as a province, marked the first House of Representatives speaker since 1997. Beijing repeatedly warned Washington not to allow the visit. China is likely to take harsh measures if that happens.
We reported earlier that 100 000 people were monitoring the plane. Later, we found out that 300 thousand people were watching it. Hackers also attacked the site.
